This Regional Sales Manager role focuses on growth with food retailers and independents, backed by strong product and market knowledge.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of sales experience in refrigeration. Travel 50% and a strong focus on customer relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive technical sales experience in a refrigeration environment OR 7–10 years in related field.
• Ability to lead teams and influence results through others.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Build a strategic sales plan account by account.
• Manage and provide factory support to contracted reps groups, dealers & Independents.
• Conduct sales calls with dealers and prospective customers to explain products/services.
• Qualify account needs and identify key mobilizers within a retailer’s organization.
• Create and close sales and forecast revenue monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Be the single point of contact with customers in region; handle price objections and bids.
• Collaborate with customers to solve complex problems and strengthen relationships.
• Record and analyze account information to guide sales strategies.
• Travel ~50% to meet customers.
