Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Remote Office (West) to grow our presence with food retailers, c-stores, drug stores and dollar stores. You will lead strategic account plans, provide factory support, and close sales while traveling to customer sites as needed.

The candidate should have a strong track record in refrigeration-related technical sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute sales plans across multiple levels of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field with 5+ years of progressive technical sales experience in refrigeration industry OR 7–10 years experience in the field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with multiple levels within organizations.
• Ability to develop strategic sales plans and forecast revenue; strong product and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build a strategic sales plan account by account.
• Manage and provide factory support to contracted rep groups, dealers & independents.
• Conduct sales calls with dealers and prospective customers to explain products and services.
• Qualify account needs and identify key mobilizers within retailer organizations.
• Create and close sales and forecast revenue monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Serve as single point of contact; handle price objections, negotiations and bids.
• Collaborate with customers to solve complex problems and strengthen relationships.
• Record and analyze account information to identify sales strategies and objectives.
