Job summary

ePac Flexible Packaging is seeking a Regional Sales Executive for the Chicago region. This field-based Hunter role focuses on acquiring new mid-market customers within a defined geographic territory and requires travel to client sites.

You will build relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and coordinate with an internal team. The position is remote with residency in Chicago and offers a base salary of $80k-$90k plus guaranteed commission of $2k/month for 3 months, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred
• 3-5 years in B2B field sales or new business development
• Hunter mindset with proven ability to close new business
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and handoff to Account Management
• Develop and execute a territory plan to acquire new mid-market customers
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, trade shows and in-person meetings
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand business needs and present tailored packaging solutions
• Negotiate contracts and close new business with seamless transition to the Account Manager
• Develop multi-level relationships with key decision-makers to drive growth
• Create strategic account plans to increase revenue, retention, and profitability
• Partner cross-functionally to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver customer support
• Resolve customer issues by coordinating internal resources and maintaining records in Salesforce
• Monitor industry trends and market opportunities for growth
