Job summary

Protective Life Corporation is seeking a Regional Sales Director to oversee a network of independent insurance agents and drive sales growth of our automotive product portfolio in the U.S. region. You will establish new dealer relationships and expand business with existing accounts.

The role requires 5-7 years in automotive sales, leadership ability, and willingness to travel up to 75%. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior sales management experience required.
5-7 years automotive industry experience preferred.
Must possess strong leadership abilities; including managing and motivating a team.
Must have own vehicle with a good driving record.
Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by acquiring new business and cultivating new agency relationships.
Work with agents to develop and execute strategy for same store sales revenue growth leading to the additional sale of products to existing clients.
Build and maintain relationships with senior level personnel within customer accounts.
Conducts financial reviews with executive ownership of all dealership groups within their region.
Utilize CRM to actively track and analyze sales leads and customer interactions to enhance business relationships with customers and drive sales growth.
