Job summary

RiverSource Life Insurance Company is seeking a Regional Sales Director to expand insurance product sales through the Ameriprise Financial Advisors channel. You will work alongside an external wholesaler to grow relationships, drive outbound activity, and participate in virtual and in-person sales presentations across multiple markets.

The role supports hybrid work with in-office collaboration and requires CST business hours. A track record in wholesaling or sales in insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3 to 5 years relevant sales experience.
• Series 6 and Series 63/66 licenses required.
• Must hold resident state Life & Variable Life licenses.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with financial advisors.
• Influence advisors' decisions using a consultative sales approach.
• Partner with Regional VP to develop a territory business plan and meet regional goals.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and participate in group presentations to drive opportunities.
• Accurately record activities to maximize territory results and collaborate with partners.
