Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking a Regional Director to drive sales of life, annuity and related products. The role is remote but must be based in Southern California, with responsibility to recruit producers and grow a productive book of business.

You will lead strategic sales planning, manage relationships with agents, and coordinate with underwriting and operations to place policies while aiming to exceed quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum four years of successful sales experience with life insurance products with proven quota attainment.
• Experience in insurance brokerage and developing strategic sales plans.
• Expert knowledge of life products, complex case design and carrier strengths.
• Proven experience recruiting new producers and expanding revenue.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, profile and manage existing producers for new insurance sales opportunities.
• Recruit new producers into the book of business.
• Develop a business plan to meet or exceed annual quota.
• Grow the book of business reflecting strategic plan for high producing agents.
• Maintain proactive relationships with producers in the territory.
• Maintain monthly sales production metrics and achieve the plan.
• Collaborate with Crump's operations teams to issue and place policies.
• Present and organize seminars for agents.
• Demonstrate selling skills in life, annuity, long-term care and disability.
• Navigate underwriting from presale to placement.
