Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the assigned region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites, clients, and regulatory agencies to train field teams, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with SOLV standards and industry regulations.

The role requires 5+ years in quality management within solar/renewable energy, with certifications like ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Certifications: Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC across PV EPC projects in assigned region.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and First Article Inspections.
• Provide training on QA/QC practices to field teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and corrective actions.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to document quality matters.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with standards.
