Job summary

Lone Pine Associates Inc is seeking a Regional Operations Specialist to support a portfolio of multifamily affordable housing properties. The role serves as a liaison among regional management, site managers, compliance, accounting, maintenance, HR and corporate departments.

The successful candidate will help with portfolio tracking, accounts receivable, occupancy, tenant recertifications, property inspections, vendor coordination, and administrative functions while traveling within the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two+ years of multifamily property management, affordable housing, compliance, administrative, accounting or related experience.
• Experience with LIHTC, Rural Development, HOME, HUD Section 8, and other regulated housing programs preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Gmail).
• Experience with Yardi Voyager, KissFlow, TenantTech, or similar systems.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel between properties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support across assigned property portfolios.
• Track, organize, and follow up on recurring property deadlines, audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare spreadsheets, status reports, summaries, and correspondence for leadership, owners, and regulators.
• Maintain organized electronic records in compliance with retention and confidentiality rules.
• Monitor occupancy, vacancies, unit turns, AR, waitlists, work orders, and compliance items.
• Collect and organize data for monthly owner reporting and deadlines.
• Assist with corrective action plans for properties with operational, compliance, financial, or staffing concerns.
• Review AR reports and follow up with site managers on delinquent balances.
• Help gather historical expenses, contracts, and data for budgets and reserve requests.
• Track vacant units from move-out to lease-up and ensure regulatory compliance.
