Job summary

Lone Pine Associates Inc is seeking a Regional Operations Specialist to oversee a portfolio of multifamily affordable housing. The role connects regional management, site managers, and compliance with finance and HR to keep operations efficient.

The position requires remote work from Eastern Oregon or Eastern Washington with travel to properties and the corporate office. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, $27–$32/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two+ years of multifamily property management, affordable housing, compliance, admin or accounting experience.
• Experience with LIHTC, Rural Development, HOME, HUD Section 8 or similar programs preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Gmail) proficiency required.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills; ability to travel between properties.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support across assigned property portfolios.
• Track and follow up on deadlines, audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare reports and correspondence for leadership, owners and regulators.
• Maintain organized electronic records with confidentiality and retention rules.
• Monitor occupancy, vacancies, AR, waitlists, work orders, and compliance items.
• Assist with annual owner reporting and corrective action plans as needed.
• Support AR, invoicing, and budgeting data gathering for budgets and reserves.
• Assist site teams with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
