Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking an Associate Director, Territory Operations Manager for the Northwest Region to lead clinical cell therapy trial operations remotely. The role partners with cross-functional leaders to build scalable, patient-centered service lines across sites while upholding quality and compliance.

You will manage site activation, training, and end-to-end workflows from apheresis to infusion, coordinating with regulators and internal teams. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience with broad knowledge across patient operations.
• 8 years of clinical experience in hospital or industry; 6 years of CAR-T preferred.
• CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) and contracting experience with external providers.
• Strong understanding of cell therapy standards, regulations, and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Regional site strategy: shape site selection and expansion to speed patient access and readiness.
• Site activation and certification: lead risk-based activation, certification, and training.
• Clinical workflow excellence: guide end-to-end cell therapy workflows across sites.
• Quality/compliance: ensure audit readiness, CAPA, and continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional leadership: align with PM, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Medical.
