Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking an Associate Director, Territory Operations Manager – Cell Therapy for the Northwest Region. The role blends science, operations, and patient care to drive robust clinical execution and data-informed decisions across sites.

It is a remote regional position reporting to a Regional Operations Director and involves cross-functional collaboration to build scalable, patient-centered service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with cell therapy knowledge.
• 8 years clinical experience; 6+ in CAR-T preferred.
• Expertise in service lines, timelines, costs, and quality metrics.
• Experience selecting/overseeing external providers and developing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Shape site strategy and expansion plans to accelerate patient access and trial readiness.
• Lead risk-based activation, certification, and training programs for new centers.
• Guide end-to-end cell therapy workflows—apheresis, product handling, infusion, and documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness across regions (e.g., FACT).
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align delivery across clinical and commercial phases.
• Travel up to 50% to engage sites and support activations.
