Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director – Territory Operations Manager to support Patient Operations in cell therapy. This remote/regional role leads policy, strategy, and best practices across sites, coordinating with RODs and cross-functional teams to enable trial and commercial activities.

The role oversees activation, patient workflows, and post-activation operations, including quality oversight and training for junior members. Expect up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or healthcare related field is required.
• 8+ years in cell therapy with progressive leadership.
• Experience with service lines, infrastructure, and quality metrics.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external providers.
• Knowledge of cell therapy standards and regulations.
• Experience selecting external providers and developing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives across clinical and commercial cell therapy from development to post-market.
• Collaborate with internal teams (QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.).
• Establish service lines with external partners and stakeholders.
• Drive site activation, training, and SOP adherence across regions.
• Ensure regulatory/accreditation standards are met and audit ready.
• Support quality records ( Deviations, CAPA, Change Control).
• Travel up to 50%.
