Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead cell therapy site activation and operations across multiple territories in the Northwest US. The role focuses on operationalizing trials and products, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage infrastructure, develop strategic plans, and build relationships with healthcare providers and site partners while driving process improvements and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cell therapy operations or healthcare/pharmaceutical environments with leadership experience.
• Strong strategic planning, change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare customer environments, hospital regulations and regulated quality environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Associate Directors managing regional site infrastructure.
• Develop strategic operational plans for multiple territories.
• Foster relationships with healthcare providers and site partners.
• Contribute to SOPs and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Medical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT.
• Support site readiness and patient care across regions.
• Lead change management and regional market analysis to optimize activation and lifecycle management.
• Report regional performance to senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
