Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager - Market Access to establish and manage strategic relationships with PBMs, health plans, and Medicaid programs across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years in Market Access/Managed Markets within pharma/biotech/medical device.
• Proven success negotiating with PBMs/health plans.
• Experience with hybrid distribution model preferred.
• Deep understanding of PBM contracting, reimbursement, and specialty distribution.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into account strategies.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills with C-suite and senior execs.
• Experience in hub services and patient access programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and execution with regional and downstream PBMs and health plans.
• Develop tailored value propositions using financial modeling and health economic data.
• Secure formulary coverage and reimbursement pathways aligned to product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal legal, pricing, and finance teams to structure agreements.
• Drive pull-through and execution across field sales and market access teams.
• Translate contract terms into actionable tools and messaging for the field.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with PBMs and payers.
• Provide strategic input into brand planning, pricing, and evidence needs.
• Support evolution of hybrid access models amid shifting landscape.
