Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a remote, full-time Medical Affairs professional to deliver evidence-based health economics data to regional payers across Medicaid, insurers, IDNs, PBMs, and Federal Healthcare channels.

You will lead medical strategy for regional accounts, collaborate with RAMs, and develop state profile tools while engaging with external stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and address access challenges.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, MD or PhD) strongly preferred in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biological Sciences, Health Services Research or Public Health.
• 5+ years of Managed care or similar experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of US healthcare system at a regional level.
• Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics concepts including modeling and real-world evidence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based healthcare economic and clinical information to regional payers.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for regional accounts.
• Collaborate with payer stakeholders to educate and improve patient outcomes using unbranded resources.
• Create and grow relationships with regional payers and understand the payer landscape.
