Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Affairs/Market Access professional to lead national payer strategy and value communications for our portfolio.

This remote role focuses on evidence-based health economics, real-world outcomes, and engagement with insurers, PBMs, GPOs, IDNs, and Federal markets across the United States. Responsibilities include developing medical strategies with cross-functional teams, educating stakeholders on coverage changes, and leading national

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Managed care or similar experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• 1-2+ years of MML or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of the US healthcare system at a national level including payers and PBMs.
• Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics, health outcomes, real-world evidence and trial design.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem solving and strategic thinking.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% across national and regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based healthcare economic and clinical information demonstrating value of the portfolio.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for national accounts.
• Communicate payer coverage changes to Field Medical Affairs and downstream accounts.
• Collaborate with national payer stakeholders to educate and improve patient outcomes.
• Lead remote customer engagement projects and payer-aligned platforms.
