You will deliver value-based evidence for national accounts, integrate payer changes with Field Medical Affairs, and guide remote engagement with PBMs, IDNs, and federal markets. The role requires a doctoral degree and 7+ years in managed care, with extensive US healthcare knowledge and a travel commitment up to 80% across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required: Doctoral degree (PharmD, MD or PhD) preferred in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biological Sciences, Health Services Research or Public Health.
• 7+ years of Managed care or similar experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of current US healthcare system at a national level including landscape changes, payers, PBMs, and vertical integration.
• Knowledge of clinical and pharmacoeconomic concepts including modeling, real-world evidence, health outcomes and clinical trial designs.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a continually evolving environment.
• Patient-first mindset with ability to identify customer needs and opportunities for improved patient outcomes.
• Strategic thinking combining business acumen and clinical expertise.
• Understanding of Otsuka's business model and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; professional maturity and competence.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% with national and regional coverage across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based healthcare economic and clinical information demonstrating value for national accounts and ecosystems.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for national accounts in alignment with directives.
• Communicate payer coverage changes to Field Medical Affairs and downstream accounts.
• Collaborate with national payer stakeholders to educate and improve patient outcomes using unbranded resources.
• Lead Remote Customer Engagement projects and coordinate with matrix teams for payer aligned platforms.
• Build relationships with national health care decision makers and share market insights with matrix partners.
