Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Affairs leader to deliver healthcare economic and clinical data to regional payer ecosystems, including Medicaid, insurers, PBMs, and IDNs. The role emphasizes real-world evidence, population health and unbranded education platforms.

You will collaborate with RAMs to advance medical strategies, expand payer partnerships, and stay ahead of regulatory and market dynamics while supporting patient access across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Managed care or similar experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding and knowledge of current US healthcare system at a regional level.
• Knowledge of clinical and pharmacoeconomic concepts including modeling, real-world evidence, health outcomes and clinical trial designs.
• Excellent organizations skills and the ability to prioritize and work effectively in a continually evolving environment.
• Demonstrates the Patient first mindset and the ability to gain insights and identify customer needs and opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver evidence-based healthcare economic and clinical information demonstrating the value of Otsuka’s portfolio to regional accounts (Medicaid, insurers, PBMs, IDNs, Federal healthcare).
• Deliver health outcomes data to regional payers and identify partnership opportunities with GVRWE.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for regional accounts and maintain state profile tools.
• Collaborate with payers to provide education and enhance patient outcomes using unbranded resources and remote engagement platforms.
• Create and grow relationships with regional payer decision makers and stay informed on payer landscape and access challenges.
