Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Central to lead access strategy across the Central territory. This remote, field-based role drives payer relationships with commercial payers and IDNs, shaping formulary decisions and coverage for rare disease products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in biotech/pharmaceutical experience, including at least five years in regional payer account management.
• Solid understanding of payer sector, including Medical/Pharmacy Benefit Designs, current legislation, and Medicaid.
• Ability to understand and present complex clinical data for approved indications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regional payers, Medicaid programs, and IDNs across the Central territory.
• Own enterprise account strategy and coordinate execution with aligned Regional Account Directors.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans for Blue plans, regional payers, Medicaid-focused organizations, and provider-sponsored health plans.
• Profile formulary and medical policy review processes, utilization management, and decision makers; coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver value stories and resolve access issues.
• Communicate payer policy and coverage changes to field teams and maintain knowledge of Medicaid policy and regional market dynamics.
