Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma seeks a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Central to lead access strategy across the Central territory. This remote, field-based role covers multiple US states with a focus on payer relationships and market access for rare disease portfolios.

The role requires a decade of biotech/pharma experience, including regional payer account management, and strong ability to present complex clinical data to payers. Travel 50-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years biotech/pharma experience with at least 5 years in regional payer account management.
• Strong understanding of payer sector incl. Medical/Pharmacy benefit designs and Medicaid knowledge.
• Ability to understand and present complex clinical data for approved indications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional payer relationships across assigned markets.
• Own enterprise account strategy for major payers (e.g., HCSC, CareSource) and coordinate with affiliates.
• Create account plans for Blue Cross regional payers, Medicaid-focused organizations, and provider-sponsored plans.
• Coordinate with Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Trade, Pricing and Contracting, Field Reimbursement, Sales and Operations to tell the clinical and economic value story and resolve access issues.
• Ensure launch readiness and timely formulary and policy reviews; resolve access barriers in partnership with cross-functional teams.
