Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Regional Business Manager to drive annual sales and profitability for Latin America and Caribbean markets. You will lead sales strategy for Commercial Golf Grounds, irrigation, and parts, building strong distributor relationships and guiding cross-functional teams.

You will manage a region, coach a sales staff, and develop market opportunities while coordinating with marketing and leadership to meet divisional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing related discipline (MBA preferred).
• Must have advanced proficiency in Spanish, both oral and written.
• 10+ years of combined sales & marketing experience managing business plans and P&Ls with multiple channels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business and sales account plans.
• Proven ability to develop subject matter expertise in product features and customer benefits.
• Strong written and verbal communication for complex negotiations with stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.
• Strong data-based analytical skills to drive programs and promotions.
• Collaborative, results-driven team player.
• Proven conflict management skills and influencing at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans per each business segment with Sales Team.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to sales staff.
• Complete mid-year and end-of-year reviews for team members.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and projection plans.
• Identify new business opportunities focusing on market segments.
• Coordinate field issue resolutions with Customer Care and provide technical sales support.
• Lead and direct sales managers, reps, and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate goals, policies, and strategies with regional staff.
