Qualifications

• 7–12+ years in state government or lobbying.
• Experience managing external vendors or contract lobbyists.
• Knowledge of gaming regulation or related policy areas.
• Strong political credibility with key government officials.
• Experience in multi-state lobbying for fast-moving industries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountability manager for all external lobbyists in the portfolio.
• Translate VGW’s policy positions into state-specific advocacy messaging.
• Develop relationships with state legislators, staff, attorneys general offices, regulators.
• Participate in cross-regional strategy sessions and share field intelligence.
• Represent VGW at hearings, fundraisers, conferences and stakeholder events.
• Monitor legislation across states affecting social gaming and consumer protection.
