Qualifications

• 7–12+ years in state government, lobbying, or campaigns.
• Experience managing external vendors/contract lobbyists.
• Working knowledge of gaming/regulatory policy or rapid expertise building it.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists; set performance expectations and provide assessments.
• Translate VGW’s strategy into state-specific advocacy messaging and tailor to local dynamics.
• Build and maintain relationships with state legislators, staff, attorneys general offices, and regulators.
• Coordinate across regions to align messaging and campaigns and share field intelligence.
• Represent VGW at hearings, fundraisers, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
• Monitor legislation across assigned states affecting social gaming and consumer protection.
