VGW group is seeking a Regional Lead for its Government & Industry Affairs team in the United States. You will translate VGW’s lobbying strategy into targeted state campaigns, manage external lobbyists, and build relationships with state officials while operating with autonomy within a defined plan.

You will travel domestically as needed and drive advocacy across multiple states, focusing on social gaming, consumer protection, and age-verification policy areas.

Qualifikationen

• 7-12+ years in state government, lobbying, legislative affairs, or political campaigns.
• Experience managing external vendors/contract lobbyists against defined deliverables.
• Working knowledge of gaming or regulatory policy.
• Strong relationships with government officials in the portfolio.

• Serve as accountability lead for external lobbyists: set expectations, review deliverables, conduct weekly check-ins.
• Translate VGW’s lobbying strategy into state-specific advocacy messaging.
• Develop relationships with state legislators, attorneys general offices and regulators.
• Participate in cross-regional strategy sessions to ensure messaging consistency.
• Represent VGW at hearings, fundraisers, conferences, and stakeholder events.
• Monitor legislation across assigned states affecting social gaming and consumer protection.
