VGW USA is seeking a Regional Lead to translate lobbying strategy into state-specific campaigns across the United States. This role will manage external contract lobbyists, build relationships with state government officials, and deliver field intelligence to central leadership.

The position can be performed remotely and requires 7-12+ years in government affairs, with experience across multiple state legislatures and regulatory agencies in fast-moving industries such as gaming.

Qualificações

• 7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, legislative affairs, or political campaigns.
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants or contract lobbyists.
• Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, consumer protection, or related policy areas.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary accountability manager for all external lobbyists within the assigned regional portfolio: set performance expectations, respond to their queries, review deliverables, conduct weekly check-ins, and provide written assessments.
• Translate the company's lobbying strategy into state-specific advocacy messaging, tailoring arguments and messenger selection to local dynamics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators, committee staff, attorneys general offices, and regulators.
• Coordinate cross-regional strategy sessions to ensure messaging consistency and multi-state campaigns.
• Represent VGW at hearings, fundraisers, conferences, and stakeholder engagements within the portfolio.
• Monitor and track legislation across assigned states affecting social gaming, sweepstakes, consumer protection, and related policy areas.
