Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations across multiple construction projects in the Western region.

You will partner with project teams, unions, and field leadership to set projects up for success from a labor relations and workforce perspective. The ideal candidate excels at communicating with unions, administering CBAs/PLAs, and resolving employee relations matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects involving trade unions.
• Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments.
• Strong background in private sector labor relations.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret CBAs and PLAs.
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law; advise project teams.
• Assist with investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution with Legal Counsel.
• Build relations with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning and pre-job conferences.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases per company standards.
