Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations across multiple construction projects from a fully remote base.

The role partners with project teams, unions, and field leadership to ensure smooth labor relations and workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record administering CBAs/PLAs, resolving employee relations matters, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, Business Administration, or HR.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects involving trade unions.
• Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments.
• Strong background in private sector labor relations.
• High ethical standards with ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and provide guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with Legal Counsel.
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution in coordination with Legal Counsel.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning coordination, pre-job conferences, and labor relations trainings.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases in accordance with company standards.
