Job summary

OPTEX Inc. is seeking a Remote Industrial Sensor Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the US region. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage key dealer relationships, and achieve targets for the Industrial Sensor line.

You will promote door sensor products, monitor regional plans, and coordinate dealer training while traveling up to 75% of the time. A background in construction-related sales and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience in an industry-related product.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project roles.
• Hands-on experience with automatic doors and hardware.
• Ability to read specifications and installation instructions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree with construction/architectural and IT course work a plus.
• Willingness to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Sales planning and growth for the OPTEX Industrial Door Sensor Line.
• Promote OPTEX industrial door sensor product and services within the region.
• Identify strategic sales issues for the region and implement objectives that address the issues.
• Monitor and update regional sales plan consistently. Generate reports (forecast, CRM, expenses).
• Develop a sales forecast for each door dealer and new dealers annually with objectives.
• Manage discounts and selling prices to maximize profitability within the region.
• Develop and update a regional business plan with product/account projections.
• Coordinate door dealer and customer sensor training.
• Support regional sales & marketing events & tradeshows.
• Establish awareness of the competition within the region through multiple channels.
• Attend industry associations such as DASMA.
