Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Health Systems Regional Scientific Director to build strong relationships with health systems, payers, and decision makers across the assigned region.

This remote role reports to the Health Systems Senior Director East/West and supports strategic medical and HEOR activities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IDN/payer settings, a clinical or scientific degree, and robust knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, and OIG guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IDN and payer space with peer relationships.
• Thorough knowledge of payer practices, formulary management and access pathways.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Develops ongoing professional relationships with key decision makers in health systems to access medical information.
• Partners with RAD/KAD to execute medical activities per plan.
• Coordinates with regional MSLs for scientific support needs.
• Provides HEOR support and serves as a technical resource for market access teams.
