Zusammenfassung

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Health Systems Regional Scientific Director (HSRSD) to build and sustain relationships with regional payer organizations and health systems, providing medical information and strategic input. This remote field-based role reports to the Health Systems Senior Director East/West.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IDN/payer spaces, deep clinical and pharmacoeconomics knowledge, and strong regulatory familiarity.

Qualifikationen

• Clinical or scientific degree required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, etc.)
• 5+ years in IDN and payer space with strong peer-to-peer relationship skills
• Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, managed market, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence
• Business and market knowledge including formulary management and pathway development
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills, teamwork, integrity and customer focus
• Solid understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other regulations relevant to pharma
• Ability to organize, prioritize and lead in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency with MS Office, Zoom/Teams and Medical Affairs systems (Veeva Vault, CRM)

Aufgaben

• Develops ongoing professional relationships with key decision makers in organized health systems to ensure access to medical and scientific information
• Partners with RAD and KAD teams to develop strategic account plans and execute medical activities
• Coordinates with regional MSLs on medical and scientific support needs in key health systems and regional payers
• Serves as a resource for HS leadership on strategic planning and mentor for team members
• Provides support for HEOR activities led by HQ HEOR within regional accounts
• Acts as a technical resource on questions from market access teams
• Attends and supports scientific and medical meetings and prepares post-meeting deliverables
• Manages the HS team budget
• Maintains compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Travel up to 50% including weekends for scientific meetings
