Job summary

Madrigal is seeking a Health Systems Regional Scientific Director (HSRSD) to develop ongoing relationships with healthcare decision makers within payer organizations across CO, UT, AZ, and NV. This remote field-based role reports to the Health Systems Senior Director East / West and requires deep knowledge of the managed market.

You will collaborate with market access teams, support HEOR activities, and provide scientific information on Madrigal’s products.

Qualifications

• Clinical or scientific degree required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, etc.)
• 5+ years’ experience in IDN and payer space with peer-to-peer relationships
• Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, managed market, pharmacoeconomics and real-world evidence
• Business/market knowledge including formulary management and pathways
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding FDA, OIG, HIPAA and related regulations in pharma

Responsibilities

• Develop ongoing relationships with key decision makers in organized health systems
• Partner with RAD/KAD teams to develop strategic account plans and execute medical activities
• Coordinate with regional MSLs on medical and scientific support needs
• Mentor and support HQ HEOR activities in regional accounts
• Attend scientific meetings and deliver post-meeting materials
• Travel up to 50% including weekends
