Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Health Systems Regional Scientific Director to build relationships with health systems, payers, and IDNs to advance access to Rezdiffra and related evidence.

This remote, field-based role supports MA, VT, NH, MN and RI with Boston-area preference and up to 50% travel. The role requires 5+ years in the payer/IDN space, clinical or scientific training, and deep knowledge of clinical medicine, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence.

Qualifications

• Clinical or scientific degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, MPH, etc.)
• 5+ years’ IDN and payer space experience
• Deep knowledge of clinical medicine and the managed market environment
• Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics and real-world evidence methods

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with key decision makers in health systems to access medical information
• Partners with RAD and KAD teams to implement strategic medical activities
• Coordinates with regional MSLs for medical and scientific support
• Supports HEOR activities with HQ and regional accounts
• Attends scientific meetings and prepares post-meeting materials
