Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Heath Systems Regional Scientific Director to lead scientific engagement with health systems across PA, NJ, DE, MD and DC. You will build expert-level relationships with payers and IDNs, coordinate with field teams, and provide HEOR insights to inform access strategies.

The role is field-based, remote, and requires strong knowledge of US regulations. Travel up to 50% is expected, with a focus on payer-related medical affairs across the region.

Qualifications

• Clinical or scientific degree required.
• 5+ years’ experience in IDN and payer space with peer-to-peer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of payer and IDN practices.
• Understanding of managed market environment and HEOR concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with regional health systems to provide medical and scientific information.
• Collaborate with RAD and KAD teams on strategic account plans.
• Coordinate with regional MSLs on medical and scientific support needs.
• Support HEOR activities within regional accounts.
• Present at scientific and medical meetings and deliver post-meeting materials.
