Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Regional Field Applications Engineer to work remotely from a home office, engaging customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities. You will collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to quickly generate product design solutions, build responsive technical relationships, and interpret drawings and 3D files.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Ability to work with CAD/ProE for design and interpretation of drawings.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to quickly generate product design solutions.
• Build responsive technical relationships with our customers.
• Data analytics - market and technology research.
• Interface with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer requirements.
• Interpret customer and internal drawings and 3D files.
• Communicate conceptual designs to customers and internal manufacturing.
