Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Regional Field Applications Engineer to work remote from a home office. The role will engage customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities and collaborate with product marketing, sales and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have CAD/ProE experience and the ability to interface with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing groups.

Qualifications

• B.S degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Ability to work with CAD and ProE applications for design.
• Requires the ability to communicate design advantages to customers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to rapidly generate product design solutions.
• Build responsive technical relationships with customers.
• Data analytics - market and technology research.
• Interface with customers and vendors to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Interpret customer and internal drawings and 3D files and communicate designs to manufacturing.
