Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Regional Field Applications Engineer to work remote from a home office. You will engage customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities and design solutions with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers.

This role requires travel up to 25–50%, collaboration with cross-functional teams, interpreting drawings and 3D files, and communicating design advantages of Amphenol products. A B.S. in Engineering and CAD/ProE proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.S. preferred)
• Ability to work with CAD and ProE for design
• Communicate design advantages to customers and cross-functional teams
• Ability to redline designs to meet customer requirements
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25–50%)
• Ability to work in a desk/office setting

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to quickly generate product design solutions
• Build responsive technical relationships with our customers
• Data analytics - market and technology research
• Understand internal and vendor manufacturing capabilities
• Provide input for product manufacturing and testing requirements
• Interface with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer requirements
• Interpret customer drawings and 3D files
• Communicate conceptual designs to customers and internal manufacturing
• Review customer documents for compliance with AAO requirements
• Understand financial cost / pricing of AAO products
