Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Regional Field Applications Engineer to work remote from a home office in the United States. You will engage customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities and collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing to deliver design solutions.

The role requires ability to work with CAD/ProE, cross-functional teams, and travel up to 50%. You will review customer drawings, interpret requirements, and help shape product manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate design advantages to customers
• Data-driven discussion of product design and performance
• Willingness to travel 25–50% domestically and international travel if required

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to generate product design solutions
• Build responsive technical relationships with customers
• Perform data analytics for market and technology research
• Interface with customers and vendors to meet requirements
• Interpret customer drawings and 3D files and convey concepts to internal teams
• Review documents for compliance with AAO requirements
• Understand cost/pricing considerations for AAO products
