Champion Petfoods is seeking a Regional Distributor Manager, U.S. to drive sales growth and market share through distributor partners across a defined region. The role reports to the Director, U.S.

Sales and focuses on translating national strategy into regional execution with strong distributor collaboration. The ideal candidate will manage distributor performance, lead joint business plans, and develop distributor sales teams to achieve profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the pet industry or a distribution-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success managing distributor relationships and driving growth through indirect sales channels.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans that deliver revenue growth and market share.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, ROI management.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 40–50% within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Own sales, distribution, and execution results across distributor partners and territories.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with distributor partners.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and business reviews with distributors.
• Coach and develop Distributor Sales Representatives to improve execution and sales effectiveness.
• Build strong distributor partnerships and expand market penetration.
• Provide regular business updates to the Director, U.S. Sales.
