EPM Scientific is seeking a Regional Director, Business Development to lead a high-performing sales team across the Eastern United States. This role emphasizes building commercial capability, talent development, accountability, and accelerating revenue growth.

The successful candidate will engage with executive leadership, shape the commercial organization, and travel regularly to key biotech and pharma hubs while coaching field-based sales professionals in-market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of life sciences commercial leadership experience or equivalent field leadership in life sciences sales.
• Experience leading business development or sales teams within CROs, CDMOs, or diagnostics companies.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
• Strong experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales strategy and drive revenue growth across the Eastern United States.
• Develop and mentor a team of business development professionals; establish training programs.
• Increase hunting activity and new customer acquisition while maintaining strategic relationships.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and CRM discipline; utilize data for decisions.
• Foster executive-level relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across commercial, marketing, and operations teams.
