Job summary

Western Funding Inc. in Minneapolis, MN seeks an Area Sales Manager to grow funded deals by partnering with auto dealers across the US. You will onboard, manage, and develop dealer relationships, delivering consultative sales and programs to drive funding speed and volume.

This full-time role supports remote work and regular travel to dealer partners, with training provided and a collaborative External Sales Team environment focused on success and growth.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• 1-2 years in a challenging sales role with a track record of success.
• Able to travel up to 75% for dealer visits.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from calls to Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partners within Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain regular communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers on proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
