Job summary

Western Funding Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to serve as the face of the company to dealer customers. You will focus on increasing funded deals by partnering with dealers who fit the program and by onboarding and managing growth within your regional territory.

The role involves remote and on-the-road work, with training provided and a collaborative External Sales Team environment. You will travel up to 75% to visit auto dealers and drive effective program adoption.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in automotive, finance and sales.
• Background in Financial Services or at car dealerships is preferred.
• 1–2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within Independent and Franchise dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation for fast funding of contracts.
