Job summary

Western Funding Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to expand our dealer network across North America. You will represent the company to auto dealers, drive funded deals, onboard and manage growth with new and existing partners, and travel up to 75% to visit dealerships.

This full-time role emphasizes consultative selling and strong relationship building. You will train dealers on our funding process, maintain ongoing communication about programs, and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership environment.
• 1–2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results oriented and able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to visit auto dealers.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals from phone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs by phone or in person.
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
