Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Red Team Manager to lead a team of security professionals to perform red team assessments, simulating known threat actors, and helping customers train to detect adversaries and stop breaches.

This role requires coordinating with senior leadership, planning engagements, and guiding other team members. You will mentor less experienced Red Team members, oversee daily operations, develop reporting and mitigations, and collaborate with Sales to scope new customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Red Team or Penetration Testing.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing tool development lifecycles and development teams.
• Active participation in security community is highly preferred.
• Advanced experience with security toolsets (Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Burp Suite, etc.).
• Occasional travel may be required (<25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Red Team offerings, including engagements, reporting, and metrics.
• Oversee day-to-day Red Team operations.
• Coordinate Red Team activities and lead all penetration testing efforts.
• Develop reporting and mitigations for management and technical audiences.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams.
• Create and maintain reports to monitor Red Team performance.
• Organize resources to perform penetration assessments across OS, apps, databases and networks.
• Contribute to improving the information security program and resources.
• Provide guidance during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios.
• Collaborate with Sales to scope new customer engagements.
• Operate as an individual contributor and project manager on red team operations.
