Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks a Red Team Manager to lead a team of security professionals in performing red team assessments, coordinating across senior leadership and CrowdStrike Services to train customers in threat detection and breach prevention.

You will oversee day-to-day red team operations, drive engagement design and reporting, and mentor less experienced members while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships and coordinating with sales for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Red Team/Penetration Testing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with managing a tool development life cycle and security community participation is highly preferred.
• Advanced experience with Security Assessment Toolsets (Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Burp Suite).
• Comprehensive understanding of Windows/Linux/UNIX/Mac operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Red Team offerings, including engagement work, reporting, and metrics.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Red Team.
• Coordinate and lead all penetration testing activities and act as primary contact for Red Team coordination.
• Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors supporting Red Team engagements.
• Develop reporting including mitigations strategies for management and technical audiences.
• Communicate effectively with executives and technical teams within CrowdStrike.
• Create and maintain operational reports to monitor Red Team performance.
• Organize resources to perform penetration assessments of operating systems, applications, databases, and networks.
• Lead or assist in developing and improving CrowdStrike's information security program.
• Provide guidance during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios to support operations.
• Work with Sales to scope new customer engagements.
