Job summary

Scion Staffing is seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide high-volume recruiting support for a remote, full-time assignment. The role targets technicians and mechanics across multiple markets, with emphasis on the Central Time Zone and a 40-hour workweek.

This temporary position lasts 30–60 days and requires rapid start. The successful candidate will source, screen, and present candidates while maintaining clear communication and timely follow-up in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a high volume of recruiting requisitions simultaneously.
• Experience recruiting technicians, mechanics, skilled-trades, or other hard-to-fill hourly populations is strongly preferred.
• Agency recruiting experience is welcome, along with high-volume environments.
• Highly organized, responsive, and able to prioritize competing requisitions while working independently.
• Must be located in the Central Time Zone, available to work 40 hours per week, and able to start quickly.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contract Recruiter for an established organization seeking immediate high-volume recruiting support. This is an 100% remote, full-time contract assignment with a 30–60 day expected duration, and candidates must be located in the Central Time Zone .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage approximately 50–70 open requisitions simultaneously across multiple markets.
• Recruit primarily for technicians and mechanics, representing approximately two-thirds of the overall workload.
• Support additional recruiting needs for sales representatives and service advisors.
• Source, screen, and present qualified candidates while maintaining clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Prioritize recruiting activity across multiple markets and job families in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain consistent candidate flow and recruiting activity while working independently in a fully remote setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of recruiting requisitions simultaneously.
• Experience recruiting technicians, mechanics, skilled-trades talent, or other comparable hard-to-fill hourly populations is strongly preferred.
• Agency recruiting experience is welcome, along with experience recruiting in other high-volume environments.
• Highly organized, responsive, and able to prioritize competing requisitions while working independently.
• Must be located in the Central Time Zone , available to work 40 hours per week, and able to start quickly.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• The compensation for this contract assignment is $32/hour .
