Job summary

Priority Title & Escrow is seeking a Real Estate Purchase Processor to coordinate the closing process with real estate agents, lenders, buyers and sellers. You will ensure accurate documents, balance settlement statements, and manage filings to close files efficiently.

The role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This remote position offers flexibility with a preference for candidates in our payroll states, including VA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in real estate, title & escrow, or mortgage lending preferred.
• Virginia Real Estate Title experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with relevant software and technology.
• Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, particularly related to refinance transactions.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and client inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Review Title Binder for deeds, judgments, liens; share with other title company as needed.
• Review contracts for seller concessions, disclosures; update files.
• Obtain payoff information and coordinate with utilities, HOA/condo; run searches as needed.
• Prepare deeds and various documents meeting state requirements.
• Collaborate with lender/other title company to balance CD/HUD1 with accurate figures.
• Schedule closings; arrange notary if needed.
• Verify wire amounts and ensure invoicing matches payments.
• Prepare closing packages for customer signature.
• Follow up on signed documents for disbursement.
• Assist post-closing to record and disburse funds.
• Recover funds if files are short or rejected and resolve issues.
• Maintain relationships with agents, management, and sales teams.
