Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist for a remote-first real estate investment group. You will identify, underwrite, and close profitable investment opportunities across markets, handling due diligence, negotiations, and the acquisition process from initial contact to closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or corporate real estate.
• Strong financial modeling skills using Excel, including DCF, IRR, ROI, and sensitivity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Source off-market and on-market real estate investment opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis, including underwriting, pro forma modeling, and market research, to assess deal viability.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property inspections, title review, environmental assessments, and lease analysis.
• Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and conditions with sellers and their representatives.
• Coordinate closing with legal counsel, lenders, and title companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, property owners, investors, and other industry professionals.
• Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and demographic data to identify strategic investment areas.
• Prepare investment committee memorandums and present findings and recommendations.
• Continuously evaluate and refine acquisition strategies to align with company objectives.
• Stay abreast of relevant real estate laws, regulations, and investment best practices.
