Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Real Estate Acquisition Consultant to lead the purchase of homes by following up on leads, valuing properties, estimating repairs, and closing deals. This is a remote role with regular in-person prospect meetings.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales, top-10% performance, strong communication and Microsoft Office skills, and a track record of meeting quotas via phone sales; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Ranked in the top 10% of sales staff.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (including Microsoft Office).
• Proven ability to meet/exceed quotas via phone sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads, value properties, analyze comps and acquire new homes
• Negotiate acquisitions and dispositions of properties
• Perform extensive due diligence on all acquisitions and prepare contracts for ratification
• Estimate repairs and determine ARV and As-Is value of properties
• Meet with homeowners to present offers on their properties
• Work with realtors, buyers, lenders and title during the closing process
