Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years accounting experience with hands-on transactional accounting.
• Real estate investment accounting experience preferred; multi-entity reporting.
• Strong GAAP, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close knowledge.
• Experience managing intercompany transactions and external CPA relationships.
• Budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting across corporate, investment, advisory, and affiliated entities with external accountants.
• Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, and reconcile bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, reimbursements, corporate credit card activity, and recurring fees.
• Lead month-end and year-end close with accurate financial statements and schedules.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and variances.
• Manage banking relationships, treasury activities, cash balances, and disbursement controls.
• Coordinate with property/asset teams on reporting, escrows, reserves, and covenants.
• Manage quarterly investor distributions, waterfall schedules, and investor statements.
• Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with external CPAs on tax returns, K-1s, 1099s, and procedures.
• Review payroll, retirement plan contributions, and support insurance renewals and entity filings.
• Manage accounting for principals’ personal and affiliated entities and confidential projects.
