Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a remote Medical Billing Coordinator to manage accurate billing in a national virtual team. This role reports to the team Lead and Supervisor, collaborating with patients, clinics, and the office team to ensure complete and precise billing practices.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of medical billing experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A supportive, inclusive environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical billing experience required.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes and payers.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Knowledge of billing systems and claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional manner, interacting with plans, clinics, patients, and team members.
• Maintain current information on correct billing practices and payer requirements.
• Participate in daily revenue cycle management (RCM) processes for timely completion.
• Support leadership with daily, weekly, monthly reporting needs.
• Maintain department daily productivity and quality standards as directed by leadership.
• Identify and communicate issues to Team Lead/Supervisor (system access, payor behavior, workflow).
• Other duties as needed.
